研究項目簡介:
  • 矽藻分子遺傳:本實驗室是台灣第一個建立矽藻基因改造的團隊,目前仍持續開發各種矽藻分子遺傳工具,作為未來在矽藻基礎生理研究以及產業利用的基礎。
  • 特殊多胺類代謝機制與應用:研究藻類中特殊多胺的合成酵素,並開發以合成生物學大量生產這些多胺類的應用技術。
  • 分子草藥奈米技術與水產應用:利用奈米材料、生化代謝以及食品加工的跨領域技術,開發出全世界第一的分子草藥,可有效替代抗生素。在水產養殖動物上已經證實可保護動物健康,解決抗生素濫用的問題。未來也有機會應用於禽畜, 寵物, 美妝, 以及農業等其他相關領域。
  • 分子檢測技術開發:開發新穎酵素與試劑,與廠商合作,組成疾病檢測國家隊,目前在水產、獸醫以及人類遺傳檢測有具體成果。
